All volunteers must have an SVDP VIRTUS account, even if you already have a parish VIRTUS account. Learn why here.
To register yourself in VIRTUS for St. Vincent de Paul:
- You will register in the Columbia River District Council with a “location” of St. John the Evangelist Conference.
- Click here for step-by-step instructions with illustrations and advice
- OR
- Go directly to our SVDP Columbia River VIRTUS membership system and follow the prompts.
The system will automatically guide you to training and a background check if your chosen volunteer role requires those. Your Social Security number is not required. Do NOT enter your Social Security number in any field.
In most cases, we can offer credit for training you took in the parish VIRTUS system. See our instructions for retrieval of training certificates.
If you don’t feel comfortable doing all this yourself, or you don’t have a computer, please talk to our Conference Membership Chair or an officer to get help.
