What: It’s a fun event – all donations help fund vital St. Vincent de Paul outreach programs serving our local community.
When: Friday, August 14th and Saturday, August 15th from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Where: St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 8701 NE 119th ST, Vancouver, Washington 98662. Look for the signs at the playground.

Our 2024 FRIENDS OF THE POOR® WALK/RUN was a tremendous success! Our Sponsors, Walkers, Runners and Donors blessed us once again this year with an incredible outpouring of support.
We raised $28,000 on Sunday September 29th!!!
That surpasses our goal by more than 80%!

Lastly, we are deeply grateful to Carrie and Grace Farrell and everyone at Seton Catholic College Prep High School for hosting our Walk, to St. John Parish staff for their help in publicizing the Walk, to Flor Fernandez for his sound system, to our Gift Basket donors and Gift Basket Designer Extraordinaire Kathryn Tochtrop.

To all our parishioners for their generous donations!
To the loyal ladies, the gracious gentlemen, and the young strong youth from the Sunday Masses who all responded to the call to serve!

It took many hands to prepare for and run the Summer Outreach Sale, volunteering their time and talent while sharing fun and fellowship.
